Our home is just across the border from Basel (ca 10min drive from Euroairport) in the Alsace France. It is an old Farmhouse which we have renovated to a contemporary style. Upstairs it is open plan with high ceilings and lots of light coming in & downstairs we have knocked down walls to create bigger rooms rather than fit in as many rooms as possible.
